"Filled" by Corey Couturier

"Filled" by Corey Couturier is a fun and playful painting based on Romans 15:13.  It is symbolic of God's blessings and favor, painted with acrylic and other media on a plywood panel.  "Toned down" background colors are vividly contrasted with the bright, happy colors to make this painting really stand out.  DoodleBoy is a character I created in 2009, and have used him in many of my creations.  I painted this in my studio in Chinook, Montana.

Combining Western Themes and Urban Art
I've brought my modern urban art from Phoenix, AZ and adapted it to Montana themes to
create a great marriage between the two.  And yes, they may seem to be unlikely bed partners, great marriages often come from opposites.

 The Big Bang
"The Big Bang" by Corey Couturier.  Mural on Plywood.  6ft by 16ft.

This mural I did for Blaine County, Montana.  The painting is the story of Blaine County and the coming together of two cultures of people.  On the one hand there was the Native American Peoples, and on the other came the White man.  Native American life revolved around the Buffalo, and the white people brought cattle and sheep to Montana.  The Bear Paw Mountains rise in the distance as an oil pump draws oil from the ground.
