Broken but not Forgotten by Corey Couturier
"Broken but not Forgotten" by Corey Couturier is a complicated piece derived from the inner battle against my emotions and flesh, and my ongoing frustration over my relationship with my mom. As in many of my pieces, I create a narrative to encourage myself as I paint. For me, painting is therapy. The Holy Spirit speaks to me as I paint, and there's this ongoing dialog going on.
